This course delves into the analysis of biosignals and the application of machine learning in healthcare. Students will gain proficiency in understanding and manipulating biosignals such as electrocardiograms, and in effectively processing them. Basic concepts including signal generation, visualization, and R-wave detection will be covered. The curriculum then progresses to encompass machine learning techniques, where students will acquire knowledge of classical methods and explore the application of deep learning in medical contexts. Additionally, strategies for addressing signal noise and the challenges associated with using machine learning in healthcare will be discussed.
